Hello! My name is Joanna and I'm the founder of CC, a business that has its roots in my own kitchen. Cooking was a sacred and much beloved tradition in my family. Growing up, I learned how to cook from my mother and grandmother who taught me how to create many dishes each with a touch of love and sparkle. Seeing the passion my mother and grandmother had for cooking inspired me to continue cooking new foods and creating nutritious and homemade meals for other people, especially children. I have a passion for cooking and a passion for helping children develop themselves!
With Joanna, children will be able to create their own delicious meals and develop valuable skills in the 7 areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. I’ve had extensive experience helping children develop their concentration skills and confidence while in class as they work in a group. Students will also be developing their teamwork and group skills too as they communicate with each other to create their dish. Whereas in the past some students would refuse to eat vegetables at home, they started their course at CC and grew to love healthy food!
I bring eight years of experience as an Early Years childcare teacher as well as experience working as a chef in a nursery school where I cooked homemade and nutritious food for children. My motto is ‘let’s be healthy and creative!’ while having the utmost fun!
